What is a veneers simulator?
A veneers simulator, sometimes called a smile makeover simulator, puts virtual veneers on a patient’s own smile before the cosmetic dentistry consultation. With Your Social Smile the patient takes one photo on your practice’s website and sees a veneers before and after preview in about a minute.

Questions
About the veneers simulator.
Why show veneers before the consult?
Veneers are a large, elective spend, and most patients can’t picture the result from a description or a gallery of other people’s smiles. Seeing a new set on their own face, before and after side by side, lets them decide to book before you spend chair time on it.
Does the patient need to take a photo?
Yes, one front-facing photo with teeth showing slightly, taken with the camera in the browser. The result is usually ready in about a minute.
What makes a good photo for veneers?
Front-facing, in even light, with the teeth showing slightly. The camera guides the patient: it asks them to center their face and move closer, and the shutter only unlocks once the face is close enough and well lit. If a photo still can’t be processed, the patient is asked to retake it, closer and in better light.
What happens to the photo?
Patients consent before a photo is taken, it is stored privately, and it is deleted within 30 days at most. The security page has the full detail for your legal team.
Can we call the treatment something else?
Yes. The offer card uses your name for the treatment, up to 80 characters, with your price and any discount you are running.
Is the preview a promise?
No. It is a simulation to start the conversation. Shape, shade and how many teeth to treat are decided at the consult, often with a digital smile design workup.
Where can patients use it?
On your website, on a waiting-room tablet, or from a link you text them. Every try-on reports into the same dashboard.
